There are many activities to do in The Kings Garden in Stockholm throughout the year, many different events hold there, but one thing that is there more permanent, are the chess players. Not during the winter, but from spring to fall.

Here they are under the Japanese cherry tree’s blossoms which are in full bloom. Quite a nice alternative to other form of socializing, don’t you think? Here you really have to use your brain…

Cherry Blossom Spring Love
 

A very popular place to meetup with other persons is in The Kings Garden in Stockholm City Center – or Kungsträdgården as it’s Swedish name is. Generally people like to mingle among people there and when the Japanese cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the park is full too.

The Japanese Cherry tree’s even have a special day called The Cherry Blossoms Day, which use to be in the end of April when the tree’s are supposed to be in full bloom. So even this year, even though my photos are from another year actually.
