Travel Photo: Abandoned Old Swedish Fish Store

I was surprised that it existed something so old-looking so close to Stockholm as this old abandoned fish store we saw on a roadtrip recently. And that it was empty, not renovated and used for something else.

I think it looks quite dramatic. It would be perfect to use in some Drama movie, a depressive one, [...]

I never stop being surprised what to find in shops any longer when out on a roadtrip. Porcelain doorknobs in vintage style. Who would have thought?

Travel Shopping: Lapp Shoes

When out sightseeing, we found those Lapp shoes in a store in a small town just about 70 km from the Swedish capital Stockholm. The Sami people from Lappland (northern Sweden) did wear those traditional shoes, therefor the name.
