Lifecruiser Travel Blog is about a Swedish couple with a passionate interest in travel, photography and actually: the whole world!
Since Sweden is a country with a rather long winter season and very short summer season (just a couple of months), we try to escape as often as we can…
We’re mainly writing about our own wonderful travel experiences, but also other travel related subjects. Sometimes just briefly, sometimes with humor or many facts baked into the post and almost always with photos that we’ve taken ourselves.
This blog has existed since April 2005 as a personal blog, but has during time developed to become a travel focused blog instead. I’m still developing my writing skills.
Since then we’ve been:
- Blog of The Day 21 in Blog Herald 2005
- Proud member of The 9rules Network of quality blogs from 2006 til now
- Finalist of Weblog Awards 2006: Best Diarist
- Finalist of Weblog Awards 2007: Best European Blog
We did travel extremely much during a couple of years, between 2004-2006, then only 2 trips during 2007, but have started again in 2008.
See also our list of our travel from 2004-2005, which we will update as soon as possible with our trips after that.
So far (March 2009) we’ve been to over 20 countries, mostly in Europe and the one most far away in South America: Paraguay and Brazil.
We continues to travel whenever our wallet, old bodies (lol) and other circumstances allows it. Always trying to report back about it on this blog, even with experiences from our hometown Stockholm and different events we attend too.
During the summertime we usually makes a longer stop at Fårö, a small paradise island outside Sweden’s east coast with the most fabulous sand beaches.
Thanks for supporting Lifecruiser’s Travel spirit by visiting and commenting, we appreciate it deeply and it’s a part of what makes us go on.
Happy Traveling
